Still Running’s upcoming game, the goopy gorefest Morbid: The Seven Acolytes, is still looking to spread its sickly Cronenbergian cosmic horror to consoles and PC in 2020.
First revealed earlier this year, the latest footage for the game reiterates a 2020 release date, but doesn’t have an exact day pinned down. Still, it’s looking good and gore-soaked.
A self-professed isometric Soulslike is inspired by the works of Lovecraft, and is filled with gruesome beasties to slay. Its visual style somewhat betrays just how violent and visceral it can be.
Expect to master your fighting abilities, go toe-to-tentacle with hulking malevolent deities, and die a lot when Morbid does eventually slither onto PS4, Xbox One, and PC later this year.
