Varèse Sarabande has announced that they will be releasing Howard Shore‘s soundtrack to the 1986 sci-fi/horror film The Fly, which was directed by David Cronenberg and starred Geena Davis and Jeff Goldblum.

The 20th anniversary pressing will come on “Teleporter Fog Green” vinyl with a lenticular cover depicting Brundle’s early transition into the titular abomination. It will be limited to 2,000 copies and is going to be released on January 20th, 2017. Pre-orders are already open at Bull Moose.

When scientist Seth Brundle (Jeff Goldblum) completes his teleportation device, he decides to test its abilities on himself. Unbeknownst to him, a housefly slips in during the process, leading to a merger of man and insect. Initially, Brundle appears to have undergone a successful teleportation, but the fly’s cells begin to take over his body. As he becomes increasingly fly-like, Brundle’s girlfriend (Geena Davis) is horrified as the person she once loved deteriorates into a monster.
